Geographic

Options Description
Coordinate System
Opens the Geographic Coordinate System dialog, which is used to select a geographic coordinate system (GCS) from a library of predefined geographic coordinate systems.
Bing Maps
Used to select the background map type.

Esric ArcGIS Feature Service

Options Description
New
Lets you create a new connection to an Esri ArcGIS ™ Feature Service.
Delete
Lets you delete an existing connection to an Esri ArcGIS ™ Feature Service. Applicable only when a connection is available.
Edit
Modifies the parameters of an existing connection to an Esri ArcGIS ™ Feature Service. Applicable only when a connection is available.
Query Features
Lets you query the features selected in the connection that are in the extent of the active view. Applicable only when a connection is available.
Clear Features
Lets you delete all elements queried from an Esri ArcGIS ™ Feature Service.

OGC WFS Services

Options Description
OGC WFS Services (Technology Preview)
Opens the Geographic Coordinate System dialog, which is used to select a geographic coordinate system (GCS) from a library of predefined geographic coordinate systems.

Raster Services

Options Description
New ArcGIS™
Opens the Geographic Coordinate System dialog, which is used to select a geographic coordinate system (GCS) from a library of predefined geographic coordinate systems.
Attach ArcGIS ™
Opens the "Attach Raster Reference" dialog. This dialog allows you to attach a predefined raster definition of an ArcGIS service.
New WMS
Opens the WMS Map Editor dialog. The Web Map Service (WMS) is a standard from the Open Geospatial Consortium (OGC). This dialog allows you to create a new raster definition that will stream the imagery data from the WMS service.
Attach WMS
Opens the "Attach Raster Reference" dialog. This dialog allows to attach a predefined raster definition of a WMS service.
New WMTS
Opens the WMTS Map Editor Dialog dialog. The Web Map Tile Service (WMTS) is a standard from the Open Geospatial Consortium (OGC). This dialog allows to create a new raster definition that will stream the imagery data from the WMTS service.
Attach WMTS

Selection

Options Description
Element Selection
Used to select and deselect elements for modification or manipulation. The set of selected elements is called the selection set
Fence Tools
  • Place Fence - Used to place a fence.
  • Modify Fence - Used to move a fence or modify one of its vertices.
  • Manipulate Fence Contents - Used to move, copy, rotate, mirror, scale, or stretch fence contents, which are defined by a fence and (except for stretching) the Fence (Selection) Mode.
  • Delete Fence Contents - Used to delete the fence contents.
  • Drop Fence Contents - Used to break up the contents in a fence into their components.
  • Save Fence to File - Used to copy or move the contents of the active fence to a new DGN or DWG file.
  • Named Boundary - Manage named boundaries and boundary groups using the Named Boundary dialog.
